Traci Delk, ACPN
Traci Delk is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner specializing in orthopedics. She has worked with Dr. Morrison for 14 years providing expert care in the treatment of their total joint and arthritis patients. Her bedside manner compliments her abilities to diagnose and treat joint pain problems. She is proficient in performing hundreds of joint injections every year including ultrasound guided hip injections if indicated. Traci truly enjoys the relationships she has developed over many years of seeing patients in follow up clinic.
Traci was in the United States Navy from 1991 to 1995. In 1995 she transferred to the United States Army Reserves which allowed her to complete her Bachelors in Nursing at Tennessee Tech. In 2007 she attended Vanderbilt University Nurse Practitioner Program and graduated with honors in 2009 with Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification. While pursuing her MSN degree, she continued to work with Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Trauma as a Registered Nurse Practitioner Resident under Surgeon Supervision. This was the first position of its kind at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. In 2010 she joined Southern Joint Replacement Institute with focus on knee, hip and shoulder replacement. Traci is proficient in all areas of patient care related to joint replacement. She works along side Dr. Morrison in the clinic setting and sees patients in her own clinic during the week.
Traci lives in Hendersonville, TN with her husband Mitch. She has four adult children. She enjoys hockey, football, scuba diving, diving, fishing, hiking. You will often see her cheering on the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena.
Suzi Winter, RN
Suzi is a registered nurse who works alongside Dr. Morrison as his Nurse Navigator. She has been in this role as a part of the SJRI family since July 2019. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 1995 from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Ky. Suzi’s passion for nursing and caring for others was passed down from her mother who has been a nurse for over 50 years. Suzi’s career started with Open Heart Recovery and ICU care. She then turned her attention to preop and recovery care both in the hospital and ambulatory surgery center settings. Her experience, multi-disciplinary skills and easy-going demeanor, make her perfect as a patient advocate and educator.
Suzi’s ability to educate patients is only one of her many skills in assisting patient’s in their healthcare experience. When she helps patients navigate their surgery journey, answering any questions that arise, she follows one philosophy…treat everyone as she would want her family treated. She truly enjoys what her job allows her to do.
In her leisure time, Suzi loves to travel and spend time with her family. She resides in Hendersonville, TN with her husband and two sons. She loves crafting, shopping, and exercise! She welcomes each patient as her own, be sure to say hello at your next visit with Dr. Morrison.
